My name is Mithun, commonly referred to as Mithun Daa in the industry. I am a visual enthusiast and camera man from Delhi.

Belonging to a small-town, the idea of films always fascinated me. It was this interest which took me to different places, made me meet variety of people and embibed a sense of appreciation and wonder towards world. I shifted to Delhi as an Assistant Cameraman, trying to understand the technicalities involved in the process of filmmaking.

My dreams kept me alive and as I hustled through the industry, I fell more in love with Films. As years passed by, and with blessings and mentorship of various DOPs and people, I started working as Director of Photography, for which I was awarded as "Best Cinematographer" by Science Film Festival for the film " Yak : Ship of the Mountains ".

I aspire to make more films and shoot stunning visuals to add another dimension in niche of filmmaking.
